PostFresh Privacy Policy [DRAFT]

Logging — Our webserver utilizes standard logging, which will record the IP address, browser, referrer, resource requested, date, and time of each hit. It's nothing special, we just thought you should know.

Information Collected — We collect various information that you supply us with. Specifically, we require you to provide us with a valid email address in order to become a registered user of PostFresh. We also reserve the right to collect information about any third party authentication service that we offer (e.g., OpenID, TypeKey). Your activity on the site may be associated with your unique login. All information collected is subject to this privacy policy as laid out below. (Don't worry, it's nothing nefarious.)

Information Use — The information that's collected is used to improve the content and/or performance of the site, to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, and to identify your contributions.

Your information will not be used by PostFresh for commercial purposes except as described below regarding on-site advertisements or as specifically permitted by individual users. The information will not be sold or released to third parties except:

• When disclosure of information is required by law.
• To cooperate with investigations by governmental authorities.
• To monitor or enforce compliance with site policies or applicable law.
• To protect against misuse or unauthorized use of the site.
• To a successor entity in connection with a corporate merger, consolodation, or other corporate change respecting this site.
• In the sale of PostFresh to a third-party.

Cookies — With respect to cookies: We like them. Especially the chocolate chip kind. Website/browser cookies are far less tasty, but we use those too. Specifically, to help us pretend that HTTP isn't stateless, to record session information (such as which events you are currently attending), to customize content based on information that the visitor sends, and to "remember" you (if you so choose) so you don't have to sign in every time you visit.

Email Contact — We reserve the right to send an occasional email to registered, active users. At present, we offer no way to opt out of these service-related emails. Emails will be sent infrequently and only used to communicate major site and account issues such as (but not strictly limited to) account deactivation, major site issues, major changes to this policy, and/or notifications that a rich and powerful Nigerian man bearing your surname has just passed away intestate and without any known relatives.

Ad Servers — We do not, at present, partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. We reserve the right to place our own advertisements without changes to this privacy policy. If, at any point, this changes, this policy will be updated to reflect the changes.

Unanticipated Uses — From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes to notify you of the policy change and to provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses, we will post the policy changes to our site to notify you of these changes and may provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Information Review & Correction — Upon request we provide site visitors with access to unique identifier information (e.g., username or password) that we maintain about them and any other profile data that is submitted or maintained by the user. Users may review and/or modify this information by visiting the profile page.
